why is this important?
The causes people care about most, like mental health, education, and animal welfare, don't run on goodwill alone.
They run on money that's managed wisely. Mission & Margin helps students see that finance and compassion can work together, and that learning how the money moves is one of the best ways to protect the things you care about.
about the founder
Building things is what draws Kyla to business. She likes taking an idea and turning it into something real, and what interests her most isn't profit on its own but what good planning and funding can protect.
What she cares about most outside of business is making sure other kids don't feel alone in their struggles. Some of that care goes toward animals: at NCEFT, an equine therapy center, she feeds and grooms the horses and gets them ready for clients' sessions, and through her school's Pawsitive Impact Club she runs fundraisers for the SPCA. She's played soccer since she was five, and when she's not on the field, she's usually drawing, reading, or looking for an excuse to drive somewhere.
